Ice-Melt

2011-2012 Ice Melt Program for Seniors

This winter, the Glens Falls Home, Inc. will be distributing free ice melt for seniors, beginning in December 2011 and continuing throughout the winter season. According to a spokesperson for The Glens Falls Home, Inc., "The purpose of this initiative is to help our area seniors avoid slips and falls due to hazardous winter weather conditions."

During this time, containers of ice melt can be picked up at these four area senior centers:

  • Queensbury Senior Citizens, Inc.
